Interesting Backgrounds: During the writing of my disseration, I became facinated with the creation of interesting backgrounds for web pages and computer desktops. I experimented and developed a number of techniques to produce seamless tiles. Some of the results of this work are available for your inspection. In case your curious....the main backgrounds of the Palimpsest site was inspired by an article I was reading about the designer Philip Morris while flying back from Ireland.

• Micellaneous Backgrounds - From ABCs to Ants, this collection has some odd backgrounds. I know they are noisy, but sometime you have to give into heavyhanded design.
