The
hard truth of Christianity is forgiveness.
Forgiveness is
the engine of liberty- Skepticism its enemy.
If we are to trust the
principles upon which our constitution was founded, we must suspend our
mistrust of the guy on the street.
We must trust each other,
and our ideals, not look to government to regulate the susupicious
behavior of the guy next door.
One thing's for certain-
History proves that, given the power, any government will betray that
trust.

Support of "The Patriot Act" relies
upon the cowardice of the American people,
the euro-belief that government should solve our problems,
the wimp-claim that government of the people is a form of vigilantism.

These are the true Patriot Acts.
American freedom rests upon one
foundation: "A firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence",
not a Patriot Act. It's the sworn duty of the President to protect, not
the people of the United States, but the Constitution. If our own
president has abandoned this objective in his percieved role as
commander-in-chief, it is our duty to remind him at the ballot box.
Freedom can be terrifying, but its curtailment by our own government
is the only true terroristic threat.
We Americans are tough enough to take care of ourselves, thank-you.
