Chile Rellenos
Ingredients
- Six fresh green chiles with stems
- Grated Longhorn Cheese
- Enough batter to deep fry six chiles
Cooking
- Roast, peel and slit chiles.
- Stuff chiles with grated cheese.
- Dip in batter and deep fry until crisp.
May subsitute ground meat for cheese. Saute meat with onion before stuffing into chile.
