I am trying not to take sides in this issue, and if anyone has any disagreement
with me on what I say here, they're as welcome to use this bulletin board as I
am.
I just want to say, that in my humble opinion, I think the committee has acted
appropriately both in holding meetings which are closed to the public, and by arranging
the unusual format of the public meeting. I just can't imagine that anything will get
done with all the interruptions a completely public forum would create.
I think the committee is a proper check and balance to the State government. We have
much more of an interest in the matter at hand than does the state. I do not believe the
committee has a political agenda. I think they're trying to cope with a herculean job
the best they know how.

We can all make ourselves more aware; the reference desk at the Toms River Library has an excellent
compilation of data in a folder. Some of this data makes very enlightening reading. I thought I
could maybe post the whole thing, but I was in the library from 9-9 and only got 1 source partially
finished scanning.

Please don't hold it against these pages that I've decided to express an opinion. I just want the
truth to come out, to expedite the process in whatever way I can. I hope that this post has not
compromised the main goal of these pages as a clearinghouse of information. Please continue to send
me articles and e-mail me as well. I will post whatever I recieve, no matter what I think of the content.
